A Late Summer's Wedding

This lovely wedding was held at the couple's home and I have to say that it was one of the prettiest venues that I have had a chance to photograph.  Sheri and Keith made a striking couple as they said their vows overlooking the lake and their guests.

With the children and new grand baby!

Senior Basketball Player

Austin is a senior at Community High School in Unionville, Tn. We were able to take photos inside the their new gym and then we moved onto the grounds of George Dickel, which is near my home. I've shot a lot of sessions near George Dickel but won't be going back until the weather cools off. Snakes are all along the creek bank, coming to the water since it has been so dry in our area. Austin had a great session and his prints turned out wonderfully and I was also able to create a custom Senior Book for he and his family.

The late evening sun was gorgeous on Ethan on Carissa!  Many thanks to Bonnie Delk for letting me shoot in her beautiful yard!

Patrick and Cara's Wedding

What can I say?  This was actually the first wedding I have cried at.  It was just emotionally charged and you can could tell they were so in love and happy to be getting married.  Check out the composites I did for them. It was a pleasure to photograph your wedding and thank you for having me as your Wedding Photographer!

Rainy Day Weddings

Even though it rained...

I couldn't have been happier with how this photo turned out!  It was actually sprinkling rain, getting ready to do a full cold mist when I took this shot right after the ceremony.  We hurriedly got in some family photos and then had to move under the pavilion for everything else.  No matter what, the day still goes on, the ceremony takes place, everyones happy, and the rain doesn't take way the joy the day brings.

When I was editing, I noticed raindrops in the photos where they landed on my lens.  You do what you have to do.  I had the ladies standing on the porch while I stood out in the sprinkling rain.  I used a flash where I normally wouldn't want or have to.  You just make it happen.  That's what a good photographer knows to do.

Anthony and Callie, thank you for letting me be your wedding photographer!

A Wedding on a rainy 4th of July

You might think it would be a bad day for a wedding...it was not!  Not for me anyway.  They bride and groom had prepared for the weather!  It was held indoors at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN.  The ceremony was in a beautiful conference room with the reception being held across the hall in another.  Rain or shine, there were many  places to create beautiful wedding photos.  The rain did let up in time to get some great outdoor photos at the fountain.

This lovely couple is having a great time on their honeymoon in the Caribbean. No need to hurry home Tabitha and Darien, everyone will be here when you get back, enjoy yourselves!

New Website

Hi Everyone!

It has been a few months since I have posted to my blog but I am designing my new website.  It is enabled but not quite finished.  I would love some feedback!  Tell me what you think so far.  Do you like the layout, is it simple to navigate, anything you think I should change?

My old website will be going away.  I am not going to be moving all of the photos from the old site to the new site.  I'm trying to take the best images to show and starting fresh with the blog.

It will take awhile to get all the images uploaded, so check back often and please leave a like or a comment, your input is really appreciated!
